Albion Area Chamber of Commerce Scholarship Application
Two $1,000 Scholarships available!
Congratulations on your graduation. We all know college is expensive and one of the ways we wish to give back is by providing two students with $1,000 scholarships. All students are welcome to apply, whether already in college or trade school or high school graduates bound for college or trade school.
Applying students must meet the following criteria:
Have a 3.0 GPA.
Must show a history of volunteerism or community involvement.
Must be pursuing a career that could be located in Edwards County or South Eastern Illinois.
Must have parents or guardians that are either Chamber members or work for a Chamber Member. The student can also work for a Chamber Member.
Answer both of the following essay questions with at least 250 words, but no more than 2,500.
- HOW WILL YOU USE YOUR CONTINUING EDUCATION TO GIVE BACK TO YOUR LOCAL COMMUNITY?
- DESCRIBE HOW YOU HAVE DEMONSTRATED YOUR LEADERSHIP ABILITY IN YOUR SCHOOL OR COMMUNITY.
Please have your completed application submitted by March 15th, 2026.
